Strobist.com - Lighting with the flash off camera

So, this is something with lighting...and with the flash off the camera. And there is also something about links in here.

How come I write this post? This is because I came across the Strobist Blog of David Hobby. You can find that on http://www.strobist.com. I also put a permanent link in the sidebar and you can get to the blog by clicking the image.

David Hobby uses this blog to show his techniques, gives information, shares links and more. What is really cool about this site is, that it features a kind of training course - totally for free. It is called Lighting 101 (and some follow ups) where everything is explained about lighting your images with the flash off camera.
So - what is so neat about that? I think the pictures speak for theirselves. Find some examples in the official Strobist Flickr Group.
In Lighting 101 you will find all the information on the equipment you might need and get all the basics for a first start. I got that myself and am currently testing this a lot and will post some pictures of myself in the next days.

Make sure you stop by there and learn something. This is not only for the pros, but also for the beginners. Have fun and enjoy the site. There is plenty of stuff to read there.
